Somerville Cat Tour
A vet practice walks the neighbourhood with you, stopping to introduce every nominated cat on the way.
Organised by Tandem Vet Care, who credit Minneapolis and Toronto for the idea. Cats are nominated by their neighbours rather than signed up by their people, which is a small difference that changes the feel of it: the route is a list of the cats a street already knows.
Guided rather than self-guided. Everybody meets at one time and walks together, with volunteers handing out maps and giving each cat a short introduction as you arrive.
Free, and about two hours. It ran for the first time in November 2025, which also makes it the only one on this list that happens in the cold.
Dates move every year. Tandem Vet Care has this year’s.
