Run by Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a rescue, which makes this one of the few on the list that exists to raise money rather than to raise a neighbourhood’s spirits. It is ticketed, and the ticket is the donation.
The route runs three and a half kilometres through Villeray past about a dozen homes whose cats sit in windows and on balconies. The cats stay inside throughout and nobody touches anybody, which is the arrangement most of these walks land on once they have thought about it.
