The newest walk here, and Pittsburgh’s first. Everybody meets at Legion Memorial Park in Brighton Heights around noon and the walk itself runs for about ninety minutes.

First-year cat walks are worth catching. They are smaller, the route is shorter, and the people who organised it are still slightly amazed anybody came, which is a nice thing to be part of.

Dates move every year. Brighton Heights neighbours has this year’s.

Nobody has caught a cat in Pittsburgh yet.

Not one. The whole city is unclaimed, which means every cat you meet on this walk is a first find with your name on it, permanently, on a card nobody else can have.

Someone is going to be first.
