The cats of Dunedin
Two cats have been found in Dunedin so far, the first of them on 4 October 2026. It is a short list, and it is a real one: every cat here is a cat somebody stopped for.

The one to know about
Mogwai
Mogwai is the heaviest thing on this page, and looks entirely unbothered about it.
Every cat found in Dunedin
Each one is a card somebody made by stopping on the pavement. Tap a cat to read what its finder wrote about it.
The ones nobody has met yet
There are more cats in Dunedin than there are on this page, and the next person to walk past one gets to name it. First finder keeps the naming rights, permanently, on a card nobody else can have.
